Is the Digital Camera Film Scanning course for me?

Digital Camera Film Scanning is for all levels of film photographers or folks with boxes of old family negatives that are interested in getting more control over the final look of their scans (and saving a bunch of money in the process). No-- you don't need a fancy, expensive, out-dated, prone to failure lab film scanner to do this. All you need is the digital camera you already own! If you've ever been disappointed by your lab scans, wondered what your film would look like if YOU scanned them, or just wanted to make stronger anchor images for your lab to improve you workflow before delivery to customers-- digital camera film scanning is for you. If you have questions, reservations, whatever-- just send Dani an email or shoot her a DM on Instagram.

I'm brand new in film photography and yet this class was extremely helpful and relevant to me! Dani is clearly an expert in this topic; she has learned everything through years of experience and different methods and was able to answer all our questions. She is kind, professional, and open to all our questions to help us succeed in DCS! I really feel like I can start scanning my own negatives now. I am so excited because Lab scanning costs are so high and make it so difficult to shoot a lot of film. Now I can scan my own, and tweak it the perfect way for my own style! Thanks Dani!

Dani is SO unbelievably knowledgable about film, especially DSLR scanning. She has taken the time to really learn several ways of doing things, experimented with different films and formats, and has extensive practice so she knows what works and what doesn't. It's extremely evident in her approach that she has a natural ease for teaching and a true passion for photography and film. She helps make things seem attainable and doable, without being confusing or overwhelming, and is happy to clarify and answer your questions to ensure that you understand everything well. I'd highly recommend this course for anyone who is interested in film, from hobby to professional work!

I’ve been struggling for the last few years with how to make my film habit more affordable, and had no idea that I had the ability to scan my own film. I also haven’t been very happy with what I was getting back from various labs so this gives me exactly what I need to be able to take control of deciding what my own look for film would be. Thanks, Dani!
